Meet Jennifer Tweeten
Founder of Messy Minds Studio LLC | Registered Behavioral Health Technician | Artist | Advocate
Hi, I’m Jennifer Tweeten—and I believe in the power of art to heal, connect, and transform. I created Messy Minds Studio as a safe, creative space for individuals of all ages to express themselves freely, especially those who’ve been silenced by trauma, misunderstood by the system, or left out of traditional therapeutic approaches.
With a background in behavioral health, case management, and family advocacy, I’ve spent years supporting children, teens, adults, and families through some of life’s toughest challenges. But my most meaningful work has always started with a blank canvas, a paintbrush, and an open heart.
As a survivor myself, I know how powerful it can be to turn pain into something beautiful—and how freeing it feels to create without judgment. My approach blends evidence-based support with artistic expression, meeting people where they are and helping them grow at their own pace.
Outside of the studio, I’m a mom of four, a grandmother to my greatest muse, and a writer with a passion for storytelling and survivor empowerment. Whether I’m painting, writing, or simply holding space for someone to be themselves, my mission is the same: to help others feel seen, safe, and strong enough to keep going.
Welcome to Messy Minds Studio. I’m so glad you’re here.
